What we store
Game statistics. Kills, deaths, playtime and tribe scores are recorded by the game servers and stored in our own database. They are shown publicly on the Leaderboard under your in-game name.
Discord account link. If you sign in, we store the connection between your Discord ID and your in-game character so we can show you your own statistics. You can have this link removed at any time.
Purchases. If you buy something in the shop, we store what was bought, when, and whether it was delivered.
In-game chat. Messages in the global in-game chat are relayed between our servers and to our Discord server, and stored with your in-game name and player ID (EOS ID) for 7 days, so admins can review reports. They are then deleted automatically. If you link your Discord account, messages you write in our Discord chat channel are shown in-game under your survivor name.
Tribe log. Tribe log entries (e.g. tames, deaths, destroyed structures) are stored for 30 days. On the website they are shown only to members of that tribe; server admins can view all tribe logs for moderation. Tribe membership and rank are stored so we can decide who may see a tribe's log.
Mutes. If an admin mutes you, we store your player ID, when the mute ends, the reason and which admin set it. The entry is deleted after the mute has expired.
Tribe log forwarding (optional, paid). If your tribe buys Discord forwarding, your tribe's log entries are sent to the Discord channel chosen by the tribe's owner or admins, using a Discord webhook. The webhook address is stored encrypted and only ever shown masked. We also store who set the webhook and when, so every member can see changes. Discord's own terms apply to messages in that channel.
Direct messages from our bot. If you own or help run a tribe with forwarding and have linked your Discord account, our bot may message you when the webhook stops working or the package is about to expire.
Login times. We store when you log in and out, on which map and how long you played, for 30 days. Admins can see this for all players; members of your tribe see it in their tribe log (and in their Discord channel if your tribe uses Discord forwarding).
YouTube videos. Cave videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; after that, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and may set cookies.
Analytics
We do not run any analytics or tracking scripts. No usage data is collected beyond the technical server logs described above. This section has to be revisited if that changes.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. A session cookie is used only once you sign in.
Your rights
You can ask what we have stored about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to the address in the Legal Notice or open a ticket on Discord.
Deleting your account link removes the connection between your Discord account and your character. Game statistics tied to the in-game name remain, because they are part of the public cluster history.
